Shadow of the Vampire A sharp, wickedly creepy campy satire about the manipulative German director, F. W. Murnau (John Malkovich), and his making of the 1922 thriller Nosferatu: A Symphony of Terror in which he hires a deliciously authentic vampire (Willem Dafoe) to play the fiendish lead without the knowledge of his cast (Eddie Izzard and Catherine McCormack) and crew.
