Alien Intervention [Available Nov. 28 on various VOD platforms.] After an alien (Michael Esparza) leaves a shiny, mysterious, powerful blue orb in the hands of a 12-year-old girl (Mia Akemi Brown) for safekeeping in New Mexico in 1967 in Janet Grillo's captivating, award-winning, creative, well-written, humorous, 103-minute sci-fi film, he escapes from a secret facility with the help of a wacky, weed-smoking government agent (Gregory Jbara) to retrieve the device 25 years later from the photography-loving woman (Carie Kawa), who is struggling in her relationship with her artist husband (Daniel Dorr) while caring for her widowed, dementia-afflicted mother (Cynthia Mace) and keeping her artist retreat and desert motel in the black, so that he can return to his planet.
