Asylum

Unexpected consequences develop for a cold-hearted, controlling psychiatrist (Hugh Bonneville) and his impressionable son (Guy Lewis) when his bored, lonely, and neglected wife (Natasha Richardson) ignores the warnings of another staff doctor (Ian McKellen) and seeks passion and refuge in the arms of a handsome, jealous-prone artist (Marton Csokas) who is confined to a mental institution outside London in the 1950s for brutally killing his wife.
