Up the Yangtze

A heart-wrenching, informative, and insightful documentary that follows two teenagers, a shy 16-year-old girl (Yu Shui) from an impoverished family and the overconfident son (Chen Bo Yu) of upperclass parents, as they begin new jobs on the Victoria Queen cruise ship ferrying passengers up the Yangtze River and shows the tremendous, unfathomable impact of the Three Gorges Dam project on more than 2 million residents who were forced to relocate from the river's edge.
