A heartbreaking, informative, inspirational, 53-minute 2007 documentary that chronicles the brave journey of three Ethiopian women, including Ayehu (age 23), Wubeti (age 17), and Almaz (age 20), who are ostracized by their families and community because they suffer from life-changing obstetric fistulas usually as a result of prolonged labor during childbirth and the selfless, compassionate staff (such as cofounder Dr. Catherine Hamlin, liaison officer Ruth Kennedy, Dr. Workineh Getyaneh, Dr. Ambaye Woldemichael, gynecologist Dr. Biruk Tafesse, and fistula surgeons Dr. Haile Aytenfishu and Dr. Andrew Browning), at the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital who help them and change their lives forever.
