Noise

After a divorced, newly hired, meticulous copyreader (Trish Goff) at a New York City magazine becomes increasingly agitated and frustrated with her eccentric, creepy upstairs neighbor (Ally Sheedy) who makes a racket at all hours of the night and her ex-husband (David Thorton), a kindhearted shop owner (Giancarlo Esposito), and beat cops (Mark Giordano and Douglas Crosby) do not provide her with much sympathy or support in this taut, well-acted, unpredictable 2004 thriller, her mounting anger and sleepless nights eventually get the best of her when she lashes back and detectives (John Slattery and Adam Ferrara) investigate the situation.
