You, the Living

Depression and wacky characters dominate Ron Andersson's quirky, absurd, 2007 dark Swedish comedy about a woman (Jessika Lundberg) who dreams about marrying a singer (Eric Bäckman), a name-calling carpet salesman (Pär Fredriksson) who is upset with his schoolteacher wife (Jessica Nilsson), a depressed psychiatrist (Håkan Angser) who is fed up about treating his patients, an alcoholic (Elisabeth Helander) who ignores the advances of suitors, a professor (Patrik Anders Edgren) who is discontented with his mooching son, an unhappy barber (Kemal Sener) who scalps a client (Gunnar Ivarsson), and a tuba player (Björn Englund) who is harassed by his neighbor.
