On the Road Various women (Kristen Stewart, Amy Adams, Kristen Dunst, and Elizabeth Moss) come in and out of the lives of a meandering writer (Sam Riley) as he travels back and forth across the country with his best friends (Garrettt Hedlund and Tom Sturridge) from New York City, to Denver, and to San Francisco between 1947 and 1950 in this odd, disconnected, cameo-dotted (Terrence Howard, Viggo Mortenson, Steve Buscemi, Alice Braga, et al.), 90-minute film based on Jack Kerouac's novel.
