When a disillusioned, frustrated, Scottish ex-con (Paul Brannigan) finds that he cannot provide for his girlfriend (Siobhan Reilly) and newborn son in Glasgow and that her dad (Lorne MacFadyen) wants him out of his daughter's life in this delightfully quirky, bittersweet, entertaining, enjoyable, 101-minute, 2012 Ken Loach comedy, he and three friends (Gary Maitland, Jasmin Riggins, and William Ruane) he met while performing community service under the eye of a kindhearted, whiskey-loving supervisor (John Henshaw) concoct a harebrained, risky scheme to make life-changing cash by siphoning-off a few bottles of malt whiskey valued at more than £1 million at a Highland distillery during an auction and selling it to a diehard collector (Roger Allam).
