Night Before, The When a disgruntled, unemployed waiter (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who desperately wants to reunite with a former girlfriend (Lizzy Caplan), steals three tickets to the mysterious Nutcracker Ball in New York City on the evening before Christmas for himself and his two longtime best friends, a pill-popping lawyer (Seth Rogen) who has a pregnant wife (Jillian Bell) and a steroid-using football player (Anthony Mackie), in this stupid, silly, star-studded (James Franco, Miley Cyrus, Michael Shannon, Tracy Morgan, Mindy Kaling, Iilana Glazer, and Lorraine Toussaint), 101-minute stoner comedy filled with crtude humor, the tradition of getting together for fourteen years to celebrate the holidays quickly gets out of hand after they take a ride in the Red Bull limo.
