Gods of Egypt
After the greedy, evil, power-hungry god Set (Gerard Butler) usurps the throne in ancient Egypt from his nephew Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and blinds him in this poorly acted, disappointing, silly, star-studded (Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, Elodie Yung, and Chadwick Boseman), 127-minute film filled with horrendous dialogue, a thieving mortal (Brenton Thwaites) helps the Egyptian god regain his eyesight and the throne in exchange for bringing his girlfriend (Courtney Eaton) back from the dead.
