Insult, The

After a stubborn Palestinian refugee (Kamel El Basha) who works as a construction foreman in Beirut insults an equally stubborn, Christian, Lebanese mechanic (Adel Karam), who has a pregnant wife (Rita Hayek), in this powerful, insightful, Oscar-nominated, poignant, Oscar-nominated, well-acted, factually inspired, unpredictable 112-minute film, his boss (Talal Jurdi) tries to amicably resolve the situation, which eventually escalates into physical altercations and lands them both in the courtroom with high-powered lawyers (Camille Salameh and Diamand Bou Abboud) amidst political, religious, and social unrest.
