[Opens Oct. 22 in theaters and available on various VOD platforms.] After a struggling close friend (Jefferson White) shows up on his doorstep and then dies of a drug overdose upon just being released from prison in Andrew Irvine and Mark Smoot's somber, realistic, moving, low-key, well-acted, 89-minute film, a troubled, guilt-ridden, recovering drug addict (Charlie Heaton), who is estranged from his mechanic father (Jackie Earle Haley) and has a steady job and a supportive nursing assistant girlfriend (Rosa Salazar), ends up having an affair with his friend's mother (Catherine Keener) when they bond over their mutual, all-consuming grief and guilt.
