Wish

[Opens Nov. 22 in theaters.] When a courageous, free-spirited, tenacious, 17-year-old tour guide (voiceover by Ariana DeBose), who lives with her widowed mother (voiceover by Natasha Rothwell), her 100-year-old grandfather (voiceover by Victor Garber), and a pet goat (voiceover by Alan Tudyk) in the Kingdom of Rosas off the Mediterranean sea, auditions to work as an apprentice for the duplicitous king (voiceover by Chris Pine), who has the power to grant wishes and has a devoted wife (voiceover by Angelique Cabral), and then learns he has no intention of granting wishes for his citizens in Chris Buck's poignant, family-oriented, colorful, wit-dotted, touching, 93-minute animated musical, she calls upon a magical Star and friends (voiceovers by Jennifer Kumiyama, Harvey Guillén, Evan Peters, Jon Rudnitsky, Niko Vargas, Ramy Youssef, and Della Sabato) to help her stop the sinister, power-hungry ruler from destroying the wishes and dreams of his people.
