Norwegian Dream

[Available Jan. 2 on various VOD platforms.] When a gay, closeted, 19-year-old Polish immigrant (Hubert Milkowski) takes a job at a salmon processing plant in Norway to help pay off the debt of widowed mother (Edyta Torhan) and then falls for the adopted, wannabe drag queen son (Karl Bekele Steinland) of the blackmailing factory owner in Leiv Igor Devold's award-winning, realistic, low-key, well-acted, dark, 97-minute film, he desperately tries to fit in with his aspiring union coworkers (Jakub Nosiadek, Jakub Sierenberg, Runar Koteng Frønes, et al.) who are trying to improve working conditions and to increase their salaries while being exploited by the greedy owner.
