Portraits of Dangerous Women

[Available Nov. 25 on various digital platforms.] Photographs and a bizarre car accident, which accidentally killed a dog in the English countryside belonging to an elderly woman (Annette Badland), end up with an unlikely connection among a 37-year-old, British schoolteacher (Jeany Spark), who is in an unhappy marriage to her husband (Gary Shelford); a passionate, tenacious artist (Yasmin Monet Prince) who uses photographs in her artwork as she tries to make money; an art dealer (Mark Lewis Jones) who has a gallery full of paintings he is trying to sell; and a bored schoolteacher (Tara Fitzgerald) waiting for her divorce to finalize in Pascal Bergamin's compelling, quirky, satirical, wit-dotted, low-key, 93-minute comedy adapted from Peter J. Cohen's Snapshots of Dangerous Women.
