WWII: Operation Phoenix

[Screens Dec. 3 on various VOD platforms.] When the Allies learn that the Nazis (Richard Lyntton, et al.) have captured a valuable British spy (Suzy Alden), who has already informed the Allies that she has information that is critical to the future of WWII, in Wesley Mellott's compelling, action-packed, bullet-riddled, blood-splattered, fast-paced, violent, 107-minute film with varied acting quality, the Allies decide to implement the highly-risky "Phoenix" plan in which a small group of Allied commandos (Costas Mandylor, Christopher Huff, Marcus Lawrence, Christopher Winter, Eric Supensky, Gus Zucco, and Darrin Archer) along with a Merchant Marine cook (Brian Gay), French partisans (Cabrina Collesides and Amanda Shafer), and escaped Allied POWS will attempt to free the British spy, but the plan goes awry.
