One Night in Tokyo

[Available Feb. 14 on various digital and VOD platforms.] When a businessman (Reza Emamiyeh) arrives in Japan at the Tokyo apartment of his long-distance girlfriend (Cailee Oliver), who oddly seems cold and reserved, he abruptly leaves her home to start off the night drinking a few beers with friends (Shinichiro Watanabe, et al.) in Joshua Woodcock's award-winning, well-written, terrifically acted, languid-paced, 95-minute film, he then spends the rest of the evening talking about life and love and connecting with a Japanese woman (Tokiko Kitagawa) who also just learned that her partner was cheating on her.
